My steps take me this time to a haven of peace and tranquility right in the city of Sabadell. Specifically I go to a downtown area full of bright institutions Central Market culturales.El environment and street Industrial School. There we met with the prestigious Institute of Paleontology "Miquel Crusafont" pioneer and leading in research of this discipline that many of us sound like "Jurassic Park." Inaugurated recently been renovating the space museum and popular science.
Next door and wall to wall we find the gardens of the Welfare of the Caixa de Sabadell.Durante years modernist ground floor housed a magnificent library, now moved, under the name of Archive and Library Miquel Carreras , a road building industry has joined as the magnificent documentary of the Foundation Bosch i Cardellach.De anyway exhibition spaces, conference rooms and auditions etc exist and have been raised by a gorgeous new space Auditorio.Mi great favorite and justified only if the visit is the garden, amphitheater and pond, Japanese garden as they are gorgeous.
The main building was designed in 1905 and inaugurated in 1910 as Industrial School of Arts and Crafts, to transmit it, in 1964 a new edificio.En lobby presents a very famous work of Antoni Estruch the defeat of Barcelona on September 11, 1714.
A beautiful modern hotel tower for years the Astronomical Association of Sabadell, until his move to the new astronomical observatory in the Parc Catalunya.
Finally worth noting that the Central Market (the "pleasure") is 1930 but it was remodeled, expanded and finally reinagurado 2004.
